 STUD  FACILITIES

Due to the solitary life a stud cat  must lead. We felt we should try to give our boy the kind of living quarter that would make his life a comfortable one. We had a garage, on the side of our bungalow, converted into a room and had double glazing and central heating installed.

Internally we divided the room up to provide a queens quarter (see below) The dividing walls are made from ridged plastic and the floor throughout is covered with ceramic tiles so that it is easy to keep clean.

STUD QUARTER

SEPARATE QUEENS QUARTER

The garden area by the garage was laid to concrete and this made enough room for a double run.  Shown below with the dividing gate open.

The second stud house is in the rear garden. At the far end is the stud quarter with a run 12 long which can be divided when a queen is visiting the queens quarter is to the left. In the foreground left you can see the safety corridor and part of an additional house which the girls can gain access to via the triangular run.
