To take a swab
sample you will need Johnsons cotton buds remove the bud from one
end
1 Make sure the cat has
not eaten or drunk for 30 minutes before taking the mouth swab.
2 Rub and twist the
cotton bud along the inside of your cats’ cheek for about 10
seconds.
3 Air dry the swab for
about 30 seconds and place in a plastic zip lock bag.
4 Repeat the above
process using a second cotton bud and place in the zip lock plastic
bag.
5 Write the cats
name clearly on the bag or label the front of each bag
6 Complete the form.
7 Tape the bag to the
form along with a copy of your cat’s pedigree.
8 If you are going to
swab more than one cat please complete the process for each cat
separately.
9 Send all the
paperwork to:
